Annual District Meeting, Tuesday, April 28, 2020 @ 7:00 pm at St. Peter's Church, 165 Main St., Buzzards Bay

The Buzzards Bay Water District plans to begin flushing water mains on Monday, October 28, 2019 and to continue until the system is completely flushed. The flushing should take approximately 4-5 weeks and will be done weekdays between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., weather permitting.

Flushing signs will be posted in the affected areas.

The purpose of flushing is to remove sediment buildup in the mains.  Flushing may result in temporary discoloration of the water caused by small particles dislodged during the flushing process.

Discoloration might stain your wash, especially white materials.  Please check your water prior to doing laundry.  If it is discolored, run the water for a few minutes until it clears.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate the cooperation of our customers in our effort to maintain the highest quality of water possible.  If you have any questions at all, please call the Water District at 508-759-4631.
