The Buzzard Bay Water District strives to provide the necessary technical, financial, and managerial services to maintain sustainability and to operate in compliance with provisions of the Federal Safe Drinking Water Act. Our goal is to provide exemplary customer service while delivering high quality water to the businesses and residents of Buzzards Bay and South Plymouth. We are committed to providing an affordable and dependable drinking water supply that meets all State and Federal Standards. In addition, we work to maintain an ample fire safety supply to offer dependable fire protection.

Pursuant to Massachusetts General Law c. 30A, § 20(b), notice of any scheduled public meeting for the Buzzards Bay Water District will be posted at the physical location of the District, 15 Wallace Ave., on the outside of the building.
This notice will be available to the public at least 48 hours prior to the meeting not including holidays and weekends.
Alternative posting method adopted for the District is the District’s website - in accordance with alternative posting methods approved by the Attorney General in 940 CMR 29.03(2)(b).
VOLUNTARY WATER RESTRICTIONS:
The District is asking all customers to observe VOLUNTARY water restrictions on outside watering. Between the hours of 7:00pm and 7:00am odd address numbers can water on odd dates and even address numbers can water on even dates. Thank you for your cooperation!
INTEREST ADVISORY
All bills & charges of the District shall be due and payable in full thirty (30) days from the date the bill is issued. INTEREST shall be charged at the rate of 12% per annum from the due date as allowed under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40 Section 21E.

There is a 2.95% fee to use a credit card and a .50 fee to pay by electronic check.

Interest, fees and/or penalties will not be waived if the website is inoperable for any reason or if data entry errors occur. If the website is inoperable, payments can be made by mail or in person at the District Office.

Any payments returned as unpaid are subject to the statutory penalty as outlined in Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 60, § 57A. The penalty is 1% of the face value of the check with a minimum of $25.00. If payment due date has passed, interest and all other applicable fees will be charged to the account.
